About Alison

Alison has over 20 years experience in programme and project management working in the private and public sector. She worked as a management consultant with Ernst & Young and then went on to join the management team of a Capgemini service line of 1300 people providing application management services. Since 2005, she has been working as a management consultant and project coach, both directly with clients and as a Non-Executive Director of NixonBrooke.

Her clients come from all sectors and often have pan-European and global presence. They include Balfour Beatty, Avis Budget Group, General Motors, RSA Insurance and Allianz. She has worked extensively in Europe and also in India on offshoring projects.

Alison also provides executive and project coaching for high potential individuals and is a mentor for the Aspire Foundation for women.

About Dominic

Dominic has extensive general and financial management abilities, together with solid hands-on experience of sales and operational processes. For most of his career, he has been involved in running his own businesses or helping others do the same, using management experience gained along the way and financial strengths acquired from his early years in the accounting profession.

After progressing his career within accounting, Dominic became Managing Director of a freight and logistics company for 12 years, which he developed and then sold to a global transport and logistics company. He then moved on to a range of consulting and interim roles working with corporates and entrepreneurs.

He is an effective hands-on manager, based on a straightforward approach and an enjoyment of troubleshooting and effective communication throughout an organisation. His experience includes company leadership, business development and account management. He also has extensive experience of selecting, implementing and training on a variety of accounting and operational software packages.

Throughout his working life, Dominic has had experience of working in, and with, both small and large companies. He has worked in a diverse range of industries – software and technology, freight and logistics, motor retail, finance and accounting, and leisure - and with start-up companies with innovative products or services.
